Q1) What do you have available to download in the "Members" area of the website?
A1) First off.. Julius excels in producing really hot illustrated stories of daddy/son fantasies. If you know his material from places like "HandJobs" magazine back in the 90's you know what I mean. His men are scorchingly hot - bears, cops, military guys.. uniforms of all types.. hairy muscular daddies are his specialty. So in addition to the complete "Book of the Month" selection - which is typically 100 full size pages of illustrations - we also feature a downloadable calendar, a "Library" where you can download 4 pages from every one of Julius' books, the current month's chapter of a new book that Julius releases over the course of 12 months, a Gift Shop where you can order downloadable versions or high quality CD-ROM versions of his newest releases, and you can test your skills of observation and play his version of "Casino" - and then download the background picture after you've solved the puzzle. We also give you a preview of the next month's "Book of the Month" so you can see what's cumming next!
Q2) What subscription options do you offer?
A2) On our subscription page, we currently only offer one: a one-time "trial" subscription for $30 through CCBill. (If for some reason you can't sign up through CCbill though, you can also sign up by sending us an international money order or personal check (if drawn on a US bank). BUT.. you should be aware that it isn't a "180 day" membership like some of the other websites offer. When you pay your $30 subscription fee, you are entitled to all the material being offered from the day you subscribe, up until the day that we start releasing the next "Book of the Month." For example: Let's say we started releasing a new "Book of the Month" on November 5th, and finished releasing it on January 15th. And let's also say that we start releasing the next book on January 19th. If you subscribed anytime after November 5th your password would be good up until January 19th. So... if you subscribed on January 18th, your password would expire on the 19th - so you would need to make sure that you downloaded all the material for the current Book of the month AS WELL AS any other books you may have purchased subscriptions for in the Gift Shop - before your password expired.
Q3) Will my credit card be rebilled automatically every month?
A3) No. The "trial" subscription is not rebillable. You will have to sign up each time. BUT.. if you want a longer term subscription, you can send us $150 which will entitle you to 6 of Julius' "Book of the Month" selections as well as all the calendars, monthly chapters of his episodically released book and Casino pics..
Q4) Do you accept other payment besides credit cards?
A4) Credit cards are preferred.. but we understand that some people don't like to use them. In those cases, you can send us a money order or personal check. But keep in mind that personal checks take longer to process, since we have to wait until the check clears before we can activate your subscription. In any case, once we have processed yor payment, we will send you an email with your username and password.
Q5) I tried to sign up but my credit card keeps getting denied. Why?
A5) That could be due to many things... 1)The billing address that you type in MUST match the billing address for the credit card that you are using; 2) Your bank sets a maximum daily credit limit on your card. If you exceed that limit, you're credit card will be "declined" by your bank. 3) If you attempt to make a purchase and get denied 3 times, your card gets "locked out" by your bank for 3 days. If any of these things happen to you, you should contact your bank first to find out if they can look into the problem for you. If they can see no reason for your card being declined, you can write to support@ccbill.com and ask them to look into it for you. But be patient.. it usually takes them several days to get back to you on it.
Q6) I signed up but my password doesn't work. What happened?
A6) If it used to work in the past, then the most logical reason for it would be that your subscription expired. If it is a new subscription, it could be that you are trying to copy and paste your username and password into the login blocks.. (that doesn't work.. you have to type them in each time).. or you aren't using the proper "case" (i.e. these are case sensitive, so if your username and password was set up in capital letters, then you have to type them in capital letters, etc). Another situation that can cause this problem is when you reuse the same username over and over again. CCBill's software isn't set up to 'understand' that a password can be used on active as well as expired subscriptions and will delete the username and password if it finds it associated with even just one expired subscription. So even though you have an active account - CCBill's software can't tell the difference..
Q7) What can I buy in your Gift Shop?
A7) For $30 each, We offer Julius' books primarily in 2 formats: 1) downloadable (which gives you the ability to read those books now), or 2) in CD-ROM versions. [The CD-ROM versions have higher quality scans of the drawings than you get online.] Most of the books are available as individual jpgs, as well as HTML files - and as PDF files, whichever works best for you. Some of the first book titles are only in jpg format, though. Also, as we get his books printed, we offer them for sale there as well.
Q8) I want to buy Julius' books in printed form. Do you have them for sale here?
A8) Yes we do.. And we expect to get 1 or 2 of the books printed each year, but be patient. Even at that rate - it will take us 10 years to get all of his books printed that he's released so far!
Q9) How many pictures do you have for download per month?
A9) Over 100 just in the "Book of the Month" alone. Then there are about 100 more in the Library, and then there are typically 4 to 10 in the latest chapter of Julius' episodic book releases each month.. and the calendar and Casino game give you 2 more each month. So you really do get a good value for your $30 subscription fee.
Q10) Since I have paid $30 for the right to download them, can I post these pictures to my own website or newsgroup?
A10) No. All of Julius' drawings are copyrighted by Julius. Even though you purchased the right to download them for your personal enjoyment, you have not purchased the distribution rights. Only Julius can do that legally - unless he gives you permission to do so, and that is not something that he does very often. So if you post these pics anywhere without his permission, you are violating international copyright laws and would be subject to legal action if you don't remove them.
Q11) I live outside of the United States. If I order something from the Gift Shop will you ship it to me?
A11) That is a tricky question.. For the most part, the answer to that is "Yes". The only time when we don't, is when you live in somewhere where possession of this type of material is illegal. We don't want anyone to get into legal problems.
Q12) If I sign up with my credit card, will "Juliustoons" show up on my statement?
A12) No. No one will ever see the name of our website on their billing statements. That's why we use CCBill to process the credit cards or online debit cards for us.
Q13) I forgot my password. Can you help me?
A13) Sure.. no problem. Just send us an email to postmaster@juliustoons.com and tell us what name you signed up with - or better still give us the Transaction number, and what you think your username or password is, and we'll look it up for you. Once we have it, we'll send you an email with the results.
